HRH Premier thanked by UNDP Administrator

Manama, Nov 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a letter of thanks from UNDP Administrator Helen Clark marking the conclusion of her visit to Bahrain and her participation in the UN regional conference on sustainable development. The UNDP Administrator expressed her admiration for HRH Premier's acute vision towards the challenges faced by the region and the world. She noted HRH Premier's call for the importance of linking between maintaining security and stability on one side and achieving comprehensive development on the other. She commended Bahrain's government keenness to provide development efforts to all sectors to attain the desired goals. She lauded HRH Premier's support for the UNDP office in Bahrain, looking forward to achieving further cooperation in the interest of the government's plans and programmes to reach sustainable development goals.
