HRH Premier thanked by UN chief

Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks from the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in reply to his congratulations on the UN's 70th Anniversary. Ban Ki-moon expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his constant and unwavering support to the UN and its efforts to achieve sustainable development, stressing that the UN relies heavily on such support to achieve more successes in this regard. He highlighted the importance of coordinated international efforts to ensure a better and brighter future for all countries and peoples.
