HRH Premier thanked

Manama, July 19 (BNA): The decision of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa to postpone a plan to scrap meat subsides has won praise. Alba Trade Union addressed a cable of thanks to HRH the Premier, hailing the postponement of the move to ensure more social justice is achieved between citizens. It hailed the wise decision which reflects the Premier’s keenness on addressing citizens’ grievances, taking into account the prevalent circumstances. The trade union hailed the Premier’s dedication, ever since he took over as Prime Minister, to achieve social welfare and subsidise basic commodities, so as to ensure citizens’ living conditions are not affected. "You did a lot to ensure Bahrain remains a heaven for low-income people", the trade union said, citing healthcare, education, subsidized fuel and basic commodities.
