HRH Premier receives Russian prosecutor general

Manama, Apr. 7. (BNA) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has welcomed broadening areas of cooperation with Russia in all fields, especially the judicial one through the exchange of expertise and information between the two countries.
This is within the Kingdom's openness to other experiences in order to consolidate its national legal and judicial achievements, he explained, affirming Bahrain's keenness on enhancing relations with Russia.
While receiving at his Palace in Riffa today the Russian Prosecutor General Yury Chayka, in the presence of Public Prosecutor Dr. Ali bin Fadhl Al-Buainain, HRH Premier praised the advanced level of the Bahraini-Russian relations, and the steady growth of bilateral cooperation, especially in the judicial field.
HRH the Prime Minister pointed out that relations with Russia have been progressing steadily thanks to the two countries' similar development policies, highlighting the importance of exchanged visits between officials so as to be informed about the progress of joint cooperation.
HRH Premier welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries on cooperation in the judicial field, noting that the MoU will represent a framework for the two countries' cooperation in combating criminality and exchanging information and research in this regard.
Russia's Prosecutor General expressed delight at visiting the kingdom, and being informed about its progress in all fields thanks to the successful programmes and policies adopted by the government, led by HRH Premier.
