HRH Premier receives Philippine President Special Envoy

Manama, June 13 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received today Special Envoy of the Philippines President to the GCC countries Dr. Amable Aguiluz and discussed with him ways of bolstering cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields. Dr. Aguiluz conveyed to HRH the Premier the greetings of the Philippines President Benigno Aquino III and his Vice President as well as their best wishes of abundant good health to him and further progress and prosperity to Bahrain. HRH the Premier lauded the advanced level of bilateral relations and ongoing coordination between the two friendly countries regarding issues of common interest. He underlined Bahrain's keenness to further bolster cooperation with the Philippines, praising contribution of the Philippine community to Bahrain's development. He also asked Dr. Aguiluz to convey his greetings to the Philippines President and Vice President as well as his best wishes to them of abundant good health and happiness and more growth and prosperity to the Philippine people. The Philippines President's Special Envoy commended the role of HRH the Prime Minister in boosting bilateral cooperation, affirming his country's interest in bolstering relations with Bahrain and praising the care given to the Philippine community by the government.
