HRH Premier receives HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali

Manama, Dec. 28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Bahrain Parents' Care Society Honorary President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and congratulated him on being granted the highest social responsibility decoration by Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir, in recognition of his role in charity and human voluntary work. HRH Premier lauded HH Shaikh Khalifa's efforts in the charity and voluntary fields and humanitarian initiatives which, he said, earned him the highest levels of appreciation and provided a model to emulate for Bahraini and Arab youth to enhance humanitarian work and ensure it achieves its noble goals in the service of the country and the Nation. HRH the Prime Minister expressed pride in the prestigious honouring which, he said, embodied the bright image of Bahraini citizens for their pioneering voluntary work efforts that emanate from the values of solidarity and dedication promoted by the Islamic religion, as well as the deep-rooted authentic values embraced by the Bahraini society. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his constant interest in charity and voluntary work. "We have learnt dedication and benevolence from the school of HRH Premier, the big-hearted father of all," he affirmed. He said that the Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir had expressed his sincere appreciation to HRH Premier for his crucial role in the kingdom's progress and service to humanity. He also wished Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity, HH Shaikh Khalifa added.
