HRH Premier receives French ambassador

Manama, Feb. 10. (BNA) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the French Ambassador to Bahrain Bernard Régnauld-Fabre. HRH Premier reviewed with the envoy the outstanding Bahraini-French relations, and ways to bolster joint cooperation, calling on officials in the two countries to exert more efforts to broaden areas of bilateral cooperation in various fields. HRH the Prime Minister said that the kingdom is looking forward to opening up new horizons of joint cooperation and increasing bilateral coordination towards various issues, stressing keenness to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries through the activation of joint agreements and committees. Ambassador Bernard Régnauld-Fabre expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier for his keenness to enhance Bahraini-French cooperation. He affirmed his country's desire to increase coordination with the kingdom in various fields. He lauded the cabinet's approval to register a branch of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain, noting that the move will boost bilateral cooperation.
