HRH Premier praises Egypt's supportive stances towards Bahrain

Manama, Dec. 6. (BNA) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received here today the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, currently on a visit to the Kingdom to take part in tenth IISS regional security summit –the "Manama Dialogue". HRH Premier stressed the importance of stepping up coordination and cooperation among Arab countries in order to reinforce regional security and stability, and combat all forms and manifestations of terrorism, amid the challenges currently facing countries of the region. He stressed that the current situation requires regional countries to express firm stances against terrorism openly so as to ensure their safety from terrorism. HRH the Prime Minister reviewed with the Egyptian Minister the deep-rooted Bahraini-Egyptian relations, and ways of bolstering them in various fields. HRH Premier affirmed that Egypt's status as an Arab "strategic depth", to whose "stability all are looking forward". He lauded Egypt's constant "honourable stances" towards Bahrain, and regional security and stability. Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said the GCC security and that of his country are indivisible, noting that Egypt rejects all forms of interference that aim to destabilise GCC countries.
