HRH Premier praises Bahrainis' patriotic stances

Manama, July 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that the Bahraini people’s honourable stances in defending the nation and keenness on its security and stability under all circumstances have always been a source of pride, and reflect Bahrainis’ awareness and recognition of the reality of the developments taking place around them. "The events and changes the world is going through should make us more determined and resolved to reinforce the pillars of national security, and take the necessary measures that ensure the fulfillment of the loyal Bahraini people’s aspirations for more development and progress," he said. "Under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, we are going ahead with our development plans, and the source of our strength and steadfastness is the cohesion and solidarity among the Bahraini citizens. We will carry on working for the sake of Bahrain and its people," he added. HRH Premier made the statements while receiving at the Gudaibiya Palace today Shura Council Chairman Ali Al-Saleh and President of the Supreme Judicial Council Chancellor Salim Al-Kuwari, in presence of former Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa Al-Dhahrani, a number of MPs, state officials and scores of citizens. The Prime Minister re-affirmed that the current world developments require more vigilance and caution, stressing the need to draw lessons to ensure more stability and security for Bahrain. "Bahrain will remain fine, and an oasis of security and stability in light of our national unity, and this is the nature of the Bahrainis who are keen on achieving more progress. All share the same goal of enhancing the nation’s status and prosperity," he told the audience. HRH the Prime Minister asserted that the cornerstone of the government’s efforts is to achieve the interests of the nation and the citizens. "The rights of Bahrain and its people are the ultimate goals which we seek to achieve in the present and the future," he explained. HRH Premier lauded the role played by the Legislative Branch in strengthening the pillars of the democratic process in the kingdom through its constant cooperation with the Executive, which, he said, reflects the shared desire to serve the homeland and its people. The Prime Minister extended thanks and appreciation to the Press and media personnel for the enlightened and in-depth visions they make while tackling domestic and international issues, stressing the importance of the "mindful and responsible word" in upgrading society and stimulating the citizens to work and be dedicated in serving the nation.
