HRH Premier lauds strong fraternal relations with KSA

Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa lauded strong fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia, stressing that Saudi Arabia's happy occasions are Bahrain's too. He was speaking as he attended today a celebration hosted by the Saudi embassy marking the kingdom's National Day. HRH the Premier praised the achievements in Saudi Arabia which are made on a sound basis laid by previous leaders and built on by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He underscored the role of Saudi Arabia in serving pilgrims and Umrah performers, commending the major extension projects of the two holy mosques. He stressed the tremendous and undeniable efforts of Saudi Arabia in serving Islam and Muslims. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the achievements of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at the local, GCC and Arab levels and his initiatives to serve the Arab nation and protect its dignity by confronting interference and policies aimed at wreaking havoc and dragging all Arab countries into the circle of violence and subversion. He said the brave steps taken by Saudi Arabia are behind enemies' plots to tarnish its reputation which will never be accepted by Bahrain. HRH the Premier reiterated support to Saudi Arabia which never hesitated to support Bahrain in all circumstances. He extended congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Defence Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. HRH the Prime Minister said Bahrain considers Saudi Arabia as a bulwark for Arabs and Muslims and a strategic depth for Bahrain, pointing out that ties linking both countries have a special specificity thanks to the care given by the leaderships. He recalled with pride and appreciation the achievements brought about since the era of the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. He added that keenness to take part in the celebration marking the National Day of Saudi Arabia stems from the special place the kingdom has in the heart of every Bahraini. On his part, Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Malik Al-Shaikh thanked HRH the Premier for attending the reception ceremony which reflects the distinguished ties binding both countries. He also praised the role of HRH the Prime Minister in further cementing bilateral fraternal relations.
