HRH Premier, HRH Crown Prince review development plans

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, at the Gudaibiya Palace. The two leaders reviewed the on-going efforts to develop the infrastructure and service sectors, and the efforts being exerted by the government to achieve sustainable development and face its challenges, particularly reinforcing and strengthening the pillars of security and stability in a way that helps achieve the expected development goals set by the government during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's prosperous era. HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince also reviewed the government's plans regarding providing the funds for the general state budget and reducing the public debt through increasing oil and non-oil revenues, and the needed initiatives and procedures to deal with the financial challenges faced by the budget. HRH the Crown Prince informed HRH the Prime Minister about his participation in the Climate Summit in Paris. In this regard, HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince expressed hope that the resolutions and recommendations that will be issued by the Climate Summit will protect environment and maintain countries' rights.
