HRH Premier: Government will confront terrorists firmly

Manama, Aug. 2 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa. The minister extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his unlimited support to the security personnel and all the Interior Ministry’s affiliates, affirming that the Premier’s recent visit to them boosted their morale and motivated them to continue making sacrifices and confronting whoever dares to undermine the kingdom’s sovereignty or security. HRH Premier was informed about a detailed report by the Interior Minister on the latest security developments, as well as the readiness of the security bodies to foil any plans to subvert the kingdom’s security and stability. HRH the Premier asserted that the government will continue supporting the security personnel through providing them with all necessary equipment and capabilities to facilitate their work and enable them to assume their national role in maintaining security easily, lauding the diligence and dedication of policemen and all the ministry’s affiliates and the sacrifices they make for the sake of safeguarding the homeland’s security and stability. HRH Premier stressed that the long arm of the law will reach all those involved in the terror acts, including the perpetrators, as well as their supporters and instigators, affirming that the government will not flinch or relent in confronting groups whose main objective is to drag the nation into chaos which will affect everybody. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the stances of the Bahraini citizens and their pride in the dedication of the security personnel in assuming their national duties, affirming that such patriotic stances are the first supporter of any government’s success, particularly regarding the heroic role played by policemen in maintaining security and ensuring tranquility and stability of the Bahraini society.
