HRH Premier: Executive-legislature cooperation necessary

Manama, July 6 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that the government is looking forward to a comprehensive cooperation with the National Assembly on all issues related to the national action march.
The government develops and implements plans and programmes, and the Council of Representatives monitors its performance, which creates a harmony in the work of the two branches that enables them to achieve national goals, particularly those related to development, security and stability, he said.
He made the remarks as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Speaker of the Representatives Council Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla and Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, in the presence of former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani and a sveral MPs and Shura Council members.
HRH Premier expressed confidence that executive-legislature cooperation will become stronger as the two sides share the same goals, stressing that such cooperation is a necessity required by the situation prevailing in the region and its effects on regional security, stability and development.
The people of Bahrain loves the homeland and is dedicated in its service, emphasising that actions that are alien to the nature of the harmonious and homogenous Bahraini society only represent the perpetrators who are rejected by the Bahraini people.
On regional developments, HRH Premier called on the International Community to step up cooperation to combat the extremist ideology which fuels terrorism and makes houses of worship places to shed blood of Muslims, something that is totally rejected by all divine religions, he said.
