HRH Premier congratulates UoB graduates

Manama, June 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has congratulated the graduates of the University of Bahrain (UoB), and wished them successful professional careers.
He praised the leading role played by UoB in achieving the strategy of the government in the field of education.
He stressed that the kingdom's progress and development are based on a rich civilisational heritage which the nation still builds on to ensure the continuity of its successful march.
"We are very proud of our history, and we are doing our utmost to ensure a present and a future that make us proud, too," he said.
HRH Premier asserted that the Bahraini citizens are allocated every interest and care, and that their dignity is protected, and any attempt to undermine it is not accepted.
He affirmed that Bahrain has always been –and still is, an oasis of security and stability, urging concerted efforts to preserve such as distinctive status, within commitment to laws and regulations.
HRH Premier made the statements as he received here today a number of senior state officials.
Education Minister and UoB President Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Janahi extended utmost thanks and gratitude to HRH Premier for patronising the graduation ceremony of the 22nd batch of UoB students, and conveyed to him the graduates' greetings and joy over their success.
They lauded HRH the Prime Minister's constant support to education march in the kingdom, which, they said, has contributed to developing it and improving its output.
HRH Premier affirmed the government's focus on education and training, together, out of its belief in the need to maintain the quality of the output of the educational process, on the one hand, and ensure it meets the needs of the labour market, on the other.
HRH the Prime Minister pointed out that the kingdom has made giant qualitative leaps in various fields, including education and urbanisation, which go hand with the economic and political progress the country is witnessing.
