HRH Premier congratulated by Works Minister

Manama, Aug. 9 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Minister of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf on the Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award which will be granted to him by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The minister described the prize as an added value to HRH the Premier’s international honour record and a tribute for his achievements which turned Bahrain into a model to emulate in economic and social development. He also lauded HRH the Prime Minister’s statesmanship which brought about outstanding success in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and in achieving the sustainable development goals.
