HRH Premier congratulated on winning ITU Award

Manama, Aug 9 (BNA): Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications has extended congratulations to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on wining the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Award, which will be conferred on him during a ceremony at the UN headquarters in New York on September 26, marking ITU’s 150th anniversary. The minister stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain has made giant strides in the field of communication and information technology, thanks to HRH Premier's interest and support which have assisted Bahrain to occupy leading positions among Gulf and Arab countries.
