HRH Premier congratulated by Thai ambassador

Manama, Aug. 10 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Thai Ambassador to Bahrain Vichai Varasirikul on the Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award which will be conferred on him by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The Thai ambassador praised HRH the Premier’s wise policy which contributed to turning Bahrain into a modern country while preserving its traditions and glorious heritage. He added HRH the Premier’s achievements for Bahrain gained praise at the regional and international levels. He also lauded strong relations of cooperation between Bahrain and Thailand, stressing his country’s keenness to further cement them.
