HRH Premier congratulated by Muharraq governor, citizens

Manama, Aug. 10 (BNA): Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on obtaining the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Award in sustainable development. Speaking on behalf of the Muharraq citizens, the governor said that the prestigious award is granted to HRH the Prime Minister in recognition of his milestone achievements and crucial role in supporting and achieving sustainable development at the local and international levels. The global prize adds to HRH Premier’s rich record of international awards that placed the kingdom among developed countries and gained it praise at international gatherings, he said, highlighting the Prime Minister’s landmark achievements in the security, economic, social and telecommunications fields, as well as interest in developing human resources to ensure they meet the requirements of technological advances. Such achievements serve the reform march, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, he added.
