HRH Premier congratulated on ITU honour

Manama, Aug.19 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa today received a cable of congratulations from Bahrain Ambassador to the UAE Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Ma'awda on winning the Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), marking the 150th anniversary of its inception. He hailed the ITU award which acknowledges HRH the Premier's dedicated and farsighted efforts to further sustainable development and boost the sectors of information and telecommunication technology in Bahrain. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless HRH the Premier with abundant health and happiness and guide him on the path of success to continue serving the nation.
