HRH Premier congratulated on ITU honour

Manama, Aug.9 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Jaffari Endowments Council Chairman Sheikh Mohsen bin Al-Sheikh Abdul Hussain Khalaf Al-Asfoor on the Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award which will be granted to him by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). He hailed the prestigious award, which marks the 150th ITU anniversary, as a global recognition of HRH the Premier's pioneering role in supporting and achieving the sustainable development goals on the local and international levels. He paid tribute to HRH the Premier, the architect of Bahrain's progress, wishing him health, happiness and long life to continue the march of development in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
