HRH Premier congratulated by Health minister

Manama, Aug. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa has received a cable of congratulations from the Health Minister Sadiq bin Abdulkareem Al-Shehabi on obtaining the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Award in tribute for his outstanding role in achieving sustainable development goals at the local and international levels and fast-tracking Bahrain’s development in Information Technology and telecommunication. The minister affirmed that the award is a global recognition of HRH Premier’s approach in achieving sustainable development goals reflected in the mega projects implemented by the government, under his leadership, which, he said, has ensured the kingdom a prestigious status at international gatherings. The global prize is a result of the government’s tireless efforts to attract the most up-to-date global information and communication technology (ICT) to the country, noting that the kingdom’s ICT achievements match those of the most technologically-advanced countries thanks to the Premier’s policies, he added. On behalf of all the ministry’s officials and affiliates, Al-Shehabi expressed deep pride in HRH Premier’s sound visions and policies that enhanced the kingdom’s progress, sustainable development and ICT services. He prayed to Allah Almighty to guide HRH Premier on the right path for the best interests of Bahrain and its people.
