HRH Premier calls for safeguarding national security, stability

Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today a number of Royal Family members and senior state officials. HRH the Prime Minister reviewed a number of local issues, affirming that the current phase and its challenges require doubling efforts to achieve more progress and prosperity for the kingdom and its people, stressing that cohesion and unity are the best means to overcome challenges. "We have to be optimistic about the future, be aware and vigilant and focus on protecting the nation and maintaining its security and stability," he said. HRH Premier stressed the need to adhere to national unity, and preserve the one-family spirit that brings all Bahrainis together and fosters communication among them in order to safeguard the hard-won national achievements and gains in all fields. The Prime Minister affirmed that Bahrain is rich with its deep-rooted cultural and civilisational heritage, commending the efforts being made to preserve the national heritage and invest in it in tourism in order to highlight the kingdom's historical contributions to serving humanity. In this regard, HRH the Prime Minister pointed out that the government supports investment projects that encourage tourism in Bahrain and highlight the kingdom's rich civilisational heritage.
