HRH Premier: Bahrainis should draw lessons from conspiracy

Manama, May 20 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that the conspiracy that has targeted the kingdom should be recorded in the national history so that the coming generations can draw lessons from it. HRH Premier affirmed that Al-Fateh Gathering, which stemmed from the strong will expressed by the Bahraini people, for whom all the credit should go, and overturned the balance against those plotting against the nation, and thwarted all their plots, should also remain engraved in the national memory so that Bahrainis can be inspired by it in the future. He pointed out that those who believe in the possibility of bringing back the nation backwards are driven by illusion. "Bahrain and its people have learnt the lesson, and Bahrain will never go back to square one," he said. HRH the Prime Minister voiced the stances as he received here today some members of Al-Mahmood Family, led by Shaikh Abdullatif Al-Mahmood, as part of his constant keenness to meet and reach out to the citizens and families. HRH Premier expressed pride in the "pivotal" role played by Bahraini citizens and families in supporting the government's development efforts and strengthening the pillars of security and stability, praising the clear imprints of the Al-Mahmood family in the religious and national fields. He underlined the government's clear strategies to upgrade the services provided for the citizens within a secure and stable atmosphere in which development efforts can go ahead and achieve their pre-set goals. HRH the Prime Minister congratulated Dr. Abdullatif Al-Mahmood on his re-election uncontested as Chairman of the Gathering of National Unity, wishing him and all members every success in serving the homeland and the citizens. Meanwhile, the Al-Mahmood family extended to HRH Premier sincere thanks and appreciation for his constant keenness to interact with them in times of joy and sorrow. They also thanked HRH Premier for the noble feelings he had expressed while offering his condolences over the demise of the late Shaikh Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Mahmood, praying to Allah Almighty to bless the Premier with abundant good health and happiness and guide him on the right path for the best interests of Bahrain and its people.
