HRH Premier affirms support to culture projects

Manama, Dec. 22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, who presented him with a collection of publications highlighting Bahrain's cultural and heritage sites within the "Bahrain, Your Destination 2016" plan. HRH Premier commended the efforts exerted by BACA to promote Bahrain's culture and preserve the national heritage, affirming the government's keenness to support any work that places Bahrain on the cultural map, highlights its historical heritage and tourism products and promotes the its culture. BACA President lauded HRH Premier's unwavering support to culture, and keenness on supporting cultural projects and efforts to preserve the national culture, which, she said, has consolidated the kingdom's status as a cultural and tourism destination.
