HRH Crown Prince receives US ambassador

Manama, Apr. 28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William Roebuck, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the depth of US-Bahraini ties, as both countries work together to achieve shared strategic goals. His Royal Highness praised the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and the US, and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation across various fields. His Royal Highness and the Ambassador then reviewed a number of key regional and international issues. This included the latest developments within the Republic of Yemen, in light of the recent UN resolution and ongoing humanitarian aid efforts. US Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and welcomed the Kingdom’s continued efforts to further develop relations between the two countries. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, attended the meeting.
