HRH Crown Prince meets Russian Ambassador

Manama, Nov. 5. (BNA) -- His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, met at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain His Excellency Victor Smirnov. His Royal Highness highlighted the steady growth of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Russia. He further emphasised the role of His Majesty King Hamad’s most recent visit to Russia in further enhancing all levels of cooperation between the two countries. In this regard, His Royal Highness stressed the importance of implementing the agreements that were signed during His Majesty’s visit as well as those signed during His Royal Highness’s visit in April this year, in order to transform the positive outcomes of the agreements into deliverables and actions that benefit both countries. His Royal Highness went on to praise the launch of Gulf Air’s direct flights to Moscow last week, adding that this direct transport link significantly contributes to the growing economic and commercial ties between the two countries. His Royal Highness then extended his thanks to Ambassador Smirnov, noting his contributions to further enhancing all levels of bilateral relations, including following up on the agreements signed during recent bilateral visits. The Russian Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, thanking him for his strong support for further enhancing bilateral ties and highlighting the success of His Majesty the King’s visit to the Russian Federation.
