HRH Crown Prince meets outgoing Indian ambassador

Manama, Apr. 28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Mohan Kumar, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace to mark the end of his service in the Kingdom. His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of ties between Bahrain and India. He added that these ties continue to build upon historic relations to serve the interests of both countries. His Royal Highness emphasised that the steady growth of the bilateral relationship has enhanced coordination and cooperation across various sectors, including in the economic, trade and investment fields. His Royal Highness went on to highlight the contributions of the Indian community to the development of the Kingdom. Noting the important role played by the Ambassador in maintaining and expanding ties between the two countries, His Royal Highness wished him every success in his future duties representing the Republic of India. Ambassador Kumar extended his appreciation and gratitude to His Royal Highness for the support he has received during his time in Bahrain. He also highlighted the extensive support provided by Bahrain to the Indian community in the Kingdom.
