Housing Ministry launches "At Your Service"

Manama, July 13 (BNA): Ministry of Housing (MOH) has launched a new service "At Your Service" to communicate with citizens who want to complain or make a suggestion on housing services and projects. The move is part of the ministry’s goal to diversify ways to communicate with the citizens. The ministry said "At Your Service" is supervised by its senior management directly, and that it has developed a mechanism of action for this service in order to ensure that the senior management receives the citizen’s complaints and take the appropriate action. The ministry will inform the citizen of the decision within 7-30 days. It said that diversifying channels of communication comes in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on the necessity to communicate with citizens and follow-up with their complaints. The ministry re-launched its website and started an official page on social network sites and a call centre and created a specialised unit to follow-up with complaints and suggestions. The ministry said that "At Your Service" will be available all week, stressing that the aim is to enhance communication between the ministry and the citizens.
