Housing Minister receives Chinese Ambassador

Manama, Apr. 29. (BNA)-- Housing Minister Basem bin Yacoub Al Hamer received here today the Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Li Chen. They reviewed the results of the recent visit of the Housing Minister and his accompanying delegation to China where they discussed cooperation in the field of housing, in light of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in this regard, following his successful visit to China. They discussed the Ministry's future plans that will be implemented in cooperation with the relevant authorities in Bahrain and the Chinese Embassy, in light of the outcomes of meetings that were held during the visit with a number of government institutions and officials from major Chinese construction companies as well as specialised financial institutions in sponsoring housing projects. The Ambassador expressed at the results yielded by the Bahraini delegation's visit to China, expressing his readiness to enhance cooperation with the Ministry of Housing through coordinating with Chinese companies and establishments to implement this cooperation.
