BAGHDAD / NINA / The head of the House of Representatives, Salem al-Jubouri confirmed that "the reform of political process in Iraq cannot succeed without getting rid of the regional policy of polarization".
In a lecture he delivered in the US Peace Center in Washington, DC, said that "this policy has made Iraq the regional arena of the conflict." Noting that "the political process requires reform to get rid of this policy with the help of friends in the United States and Western influential countries in the region to put pressure on the parties and countries in the region to refrain from interfering in internal Iraqi affairs, and support Iraq in its war with terrorism."
He added that "terrorism has become a tool to interfere in Iraq's affairs, through sustain the momentum of Daash and repeat a specific form of terrorist operations that target the Iraqi people."
Jubouri added that "the invasion carried out by the ISIS organization was not a surprise, because it was a result of exclusion, marginalization and suppression of freedoms that have been conducted over the years, in addition, it came as a natural result of the phenomenon of administrative and financial corruption that reached its arms tentacles to the army and other state institutions."
Jubouri explained that "the people in the occupied areas are the only ones who are able to liberate their land and they do not need others."
