House Speaker Receives South Korean President's Special Adviser

Baghdad, (NINA) -President of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi discussed with the special advisor of South Korean President Han Pyeong Do, in the presence of the Korean Ambassador to Iraq Jang Kyung-wook, the promotion and development of bilateral cooperation in all fields between Iraq and Korea on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the joint relations between the two countries. "Halboussi met with the Korean delegation and discussed the participation of Korean companies in the campaign to rebuild the country's infrastructure, exchange technical expertise between the two countries and activate cooperation between the Iraqi and Korean legislative authorities in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples," a statement issued from Halboussi media office said. The stressed that the House of Representatives is keen to activate the parliamentary friendship committees between the two countries, and continue cooperation and openness towards all friendly countries, including the Republic of South Korea./ End
