House Speaker Meets His UAE Counterpart

Baghdad, (NINA) - The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbusi, on Wednesday, met with Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi, the Parliament Speaker of the UAE. The Information Office of the Speaker of Parliament said "During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing cooperation and coordination in the parliamentary field, as well as unifying positions in parliamentary forums at the Arab and international levels. Al-Halbusi stressed that Iraq is facing major challenges of reconstruction, attract investment and promote the national economy. He added that the Iraqis fought on behalf of the whole world, and succeeded in achieving great victories that dazzled the world and that the duty today requires all forms of support to overcome the difficulties and challenges facing them, praising the UAE's efforts to support Iraq in its fight against terrorism and supporting efforts to restore stability and return displaced people./ End
