House Speaker Arrives To Kuwait

BAGHDAD / NINA / House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri arrived in Kuwait at dawn today on an official visit lasting several days. Kuwaiti news agency said "the President of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Marzouq Al-Ghanim and head of the honorary mission Faisal Al-Shaya received al-Jubouri in Kuwait Airport." The visit of the House Speaker Salem al-Jubouri to Kuwait comes within a regional tour that includes a number of Muslim countries to rally support for holding a summit of Islamic Parliaments in Baghdad. Al-Jubouri tour is scheduled to include Jordan and Iran visiting Turkey. The summit's agenda includes a discussion of Muslim countries to support Iraq in its war against terrorism and develop mechanisms to combat extremism with the participation of all Member States in this project. / End 2
