HMC to Host Global Healthcare Forum at QNCC in May

Doha, March 10 (QNA) - The first Middle East Forum on Quality Improvement in Healthcare will be held at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) from May 17 to 19 in Doha. Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is organizing the half-day pre-conference activities and two-day conference sessions that will assemble top healthcare practitioners from Qatar and the region. The conference will introduce the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's (IHI) globally recognized methodology and expertise to the region, forum organisers HMC said. HMC is collaborating with IHI, a leading international innovator in health and healthcare improvement, to bring their internationally recognized healthcare Forum to Qatar. Chairperson for the IHI ME Forum Planning Group and Deputy Chief of Medical, Academic and Research Affairs, Quality and Safety Professor Michael Richmond said, "We are delighted to be collaborating with the IHI on this Forum to teach the latest quality improvement techniques and methodology to all front-line healthcare professionals responsible for patient care. "Doctors, nurses as well as allied health professionals such as pharmacists, laboratory technicians, occupational therapists or paramedics, can all benefit from the IHI faculty's experience.
