HM King's personal representative congratulates SHGS on achievement

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Majesty King Hamad's personal representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa received here today Shaikha Hessa Girls School (SHGS), for being awarded the Unconditional Joint Accreditation by the Council of International Schools/Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (CIS/MSA) in April 2014.
The meeting was attended by the SHGS's Former Chairman of the Board of Directors Shaikh Hisham bin AbdulAziz Al Khalifa, current Chairman of the Board of Directors Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Khalifa, a number of the board members, members of the administrative body and faculty in the school and students.
Shaikh Abdulla highlighted HM the King's keen interest in the Kingdom's educational progress, as a pillar of progress in the modern societies.
He congratulated the SHGS on their remarkable academic achievement that enriches the educational march in Bahrain.
He lauded SHGS's programmes and accredited curriculum in order to expand the students' knowledge and wished the SHGS's chairman and members further progress and success at achieving SHGS's objectives of driving the Kingdom of Bahrain's educational march.
He was informed about the SHGS's projects aimed at consolidating its status in the field of education and promoting teaching programmes.
Shaikh Abdulla was presented with a memorial gift and a poem dedicated to HM the King, written by Shaikh Isa bin Rashid Al Khalifa and recited by the student Shaikha bint Salman bin Isa bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Hisham and Shaikh Mohammed expressed thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Abdulla for the warm welcome and Bahrain's leadership and government for the constant support of the educational march.
Shaikha Hessa Girls School was established in 2001 and it is the first private school for girls. It is fully accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and a member in Council of International Schools (CIA) and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).
