HM the King tours Astana

Astana, Apr14(BNA)His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today toured Astana as part of his state visit to Kazakhstan. Accompanied by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, HM the King visited the Opera and Ballet Theater where the Kazakh Orchestra staged a musical show. He was also briefed on the Opera and Ballet Theater. The two leaders then headed to the Sport City where they toured modern sport multi-purpose facilities. HM King Hamad visited the ice skating rink, expressing his admiration of the landmark facility. He commended the Kazakh Government for its keenness on promoting the sectors of youth and sport. HM the King also toured modern urban and development monuments in Astana and was briefed by President Nazarbayev on the pivotal role of the Kazakh Government in spearheading modern planning and modernisation strides in all development fields.
