HM the King thanked by SCIA president

Manama, May 11 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks and gratitude from the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa following the issuance of the Royal Decree on the establishment of the Institute of Readings and Preparation of Holy Quran Teachers. Shaikh Abdulla expressed pride in the precious Royal trust in SCIA by putting the Institute of Readings and Preparation of Holy Quran Teachers under its supervision, which, he said, reflects HM the King's interest in the Holy Quran and its sciences. He affirmed that the choice of HM King Hamad by the Holy Qur'an Memorisation International (HQMI) Organisation as Personality of the 1434 Hijri was a global recognition of his efforts to serve Islam and Muslims and promote the Holy Qur'an He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless HM the King with abundant good health and guide him on the right path.
