HM the King thanked by Korean president

Manama, Sept. 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks from the South Korean President Park Geun-hye in reply to his congratulatory cable on her country's National Day. President Park Geun-hye expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his good feelings, wishing him abundant good health and happiness, and the kingdom further progress and prosperity. She lauded the fruitful visits of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to Korea in 2012, and the Korean Prime Minister to Bahrain in 2013, noting that the visits contributed to advancing the existing bilateral friendship and cooperation relations in various fields. The Korean President voiced pride in the 40th anniversary of the Bahraini-Korean diplomatic relations, to be celebrated in 2016.
