HM the King thanked by HRH Princess Sabeeka

Manama, Dec. 10 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks and gratitude from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). HRH Princess Sabeeka extended sincere thanks and gratitude to HM King Hamad on behalf of the organisers and all the participants in the High-Level Conference "Women in Public Life: From Policies to Impact", hosted by the kingdom on December 8-10, 2015. HRH Princess Sabeeka conveyed to HM the King the greetings of the all participants and their appreciation of the advanced level reached by Bahraini women thanks to the constant Royal support they enjoy. Bahraini women's strides reflect the progress of the Bahraini society which had recognised from a long time ago the status of women and has been keen on providing all requirements to ensure they are essential and worthy partners in the nation-building and progress march, she said, praising the Bahraini women's achievements reflected in the kingdom's legislation and laws, as well as the international indicators. HRH Princess Sabeeka congratulated the Kingdom of Bahrain on the outstanding success of the high-level international conference, pledging to continue exerting more efforts to support Bahraini women's advancement process taking advantage of international studies and the best practices that are commensurate with the specificity of the Bahraini society, as well as Islamic and cultural values and principles. HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HM King Hamad for his unwavering support to the SCW, and constant follow-up on its achievements in serving Bahraini women.
