HM the King thanked by Egyptian president

Manama, Apr. 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks from the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in reply to his condolatory cable over the killing of a number of Egyptian citizens in Libya by the Daesh terrorist organisation. President al-Sisi extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his fraternal noble feelings, praising Bahrain's full solidarity with his country and backing of all measures it deems necessary to eradicate terror crimes. He affirmed Egypt's determination to combat terrorism and counter extremist thought which, he said, has become a major threat to the countries of the region, and distorts the tolerant precepts of the Islamic religion. He said his country would cooperate with brotherly and friendly countries to uproot such an obnoxious phenomenon, and highlight the real image of Islam. He wished HM the King abundant good health and happiness, and Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
