HM King receives Pahang Sultan

Manama, Apr.29 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Sultan of Pahang in Malaysia, currently on a visit to Bahrain. He conveyed to HM the King greetings from Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah of Malaysia, who wished Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. HM the King welcomed Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah and extended greetings to Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, wishing the friendly Malaysian people further progress and prosperity. He hailed the solid relations bonding Bahrain and Malaysia, hailing steadily-growing cooperation in all fields. HM the King affirmed Bahrain’s keenness on expanding cooperation and bolstering trade, economic, investment, cultural and tourism relations, stressing the crucial importance of exchanging visits to further strengthen joint ties. He also commended the pivotal role of Malaysia in the Asian arena, hailing its landmark development strides and pioneering march. The king reviewed with Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah key issues which contribute to consolidating cooperation between Bahrain and Malaysia. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
