HM King receives new ambassadors

Manama, Aug.24 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Safriya Palace newly-appointed ambassadors to the UK, France, Belgium and Russia respectively Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdel Ghaffar, Dr. Bahiya Jawad Al-Jishi and Ahmed Abderrahman Al-Saati who took their oath. HM the King congratulated them on their appointment and commended their competence and aptitude in assuming national responsibility, wishing them success in performing their diplomatic duties. He directed them to spare no effort to bolster Bahrain’s relations with these friendly countries, stressing the Kingdom’s drive to strengthen joint ties on the basis of mutual respect, understanding, coordination and cooperation to achieve shared interests. He urged them to pay heed to the interests of Bahrainis in these countries and meet their needs, hailing the crucial role of ambassadors in strengthening relations and expanding cooperation in all fields in order to bolster the Kingdom’s Arab and international standing. HM the King assigned the new ambassadors to convey his greetings to the heads of the countries where they will perform their diplomatic duties, wishing them further development, progress and prosperity. The ambassadors paid tribute to HM the King, taking pride in the royal trust. They hailed the royal directives which, they said, will serve as a catalyst to spare no effort to strengthen relations of friendship and cooperation.
