HM the King receives HRH Premier, HRH Crown Prince

Manama, June 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al Sakhir Palace today His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. A number of issues and topics aiming to enhance the national march through achieving the goals and basic pillars of comprehensive development were reviewed during the meeting, which was also attended also by senior state officials. HM the King affirmed that Bahrain will continue its modernisation and development approach in order to attain more national accomplishments at all levels and in all fields for the best interests of the homeland and the beloved citizens, stressing that the Kingdom is making confident development and progress strides despite the various challenges facing the world. HM King Hamad issued directives to take more interest in the needs of the citizens and fulfill them so as to ensure that all Bahrainis enjoy all requirements of decent living. "The basic pillar of this nation are the values shared by all Bahrainis regarding their love to good and peace, cohesion among them, their commitment to one-family spirit and rejection of extremism and fanaticism, the Bahraini society's deep-rooted genuine values stemming from their high awareness and rich heritage," he said. On regional developments, HM King Hamad valued highly and voiced pride in the firm stances of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and its efforts, alongside its brotherly states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and in cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, to face terrorism and extremism for the sake of safeguarding regional security and stability. HM the King condemned anew the terror incidents that had targeted brotherly Saudi Arabia. HM King Hamad expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince for their constant efforts to follow up on the government's work in order to achieve the best for Bahrain and its peace.
