HM the King receives BDF's "Duty Force One"

Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, received at Al-Sakhir Air Base today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, members of the BDF's "Duty Force-One", led by Royal Guard Commander Brigadier-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Shaikh Nasser and Shaikh Khalid were at the forefront of the members of the "Duty Force-One", and set the example for officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers in performing their sacred duties dedicatedly and with strong will and determination, which reflects the solidarity and cohesion bonding all BDF personnel. Members of the unit returned to the kingdom after completing the mission assigned to them in Yemen within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition successfully, and will be replaced by another group from the BDF. The brave members of the "Duty Force-One" participated, alongside the Yemeni National Army, the popular resistance and the Arab Coalition forces, in the liberation of Marib and taking control of the Bab Al-Mandab Strait. They performed their duty with outstanding courage and bravery. The BDF personnel will continue performing their humanitarian duties to follow up on the massive relief operations provided by the kingdom to the brotherly Yemeni people through the Royal Charity Organisation within the "Operation Restore Hope", in cooperation with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, the Bahrain Red Crescent Society, the UAE Red Crescent. HM the King affirmed that the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) will continue performing its sacred duty alongside brotherly countries in the Operation Decisive Storm and the Operation Restore Hope with the Joint Arab Coalition. "We thanks our brothers in Yemen, Saudi Arabia and the UAE for giving us the opportunity to participate and perform our duty towards the brotherly Yemeni people," HM King Hamad said, The kingdom backs the legitimate government in Yemen in its efforts to liberate the remaining governorates, and will continue supporting it in the security, military, political and humanitarian fields based on the request of the legitimate authority in Yemen and the UN Security Council's resolution 2216 so as to ensure the transition into another phase in which brotherly Yemen's security and stability will be reinforced and its progress and development will be enhanced. HM the King praised Allah the Almighty for the safe return of the brave Bahraini soldiers, wishing their BDF brethren similar success in performing their sacred duty and returning home safely. HM King Hamad voiced deep pride in the success of the brave "Duty Force-One" personnel in assuming the duties assigned to them, praising their bravery, sacrifices and valor, stressing that their successes and outstanding achievements will be engraved in the kingdom's history.
