HM the King receives Bahraini writer

Manama, Dec 31 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today at Safriya Palace, received Colonel Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Kaabi, who presented to HM the King his book (Birds of Safriya Palace). HM the King expressed appreciation of the writer's efforts in preparing the book which documents, with photos, Bahrain's various bird species. HM the King pointed out launching Habara birds conservation project, which targets protecting these species by providing suitable habitats and monitoring illegal hunting of wild birds. HM the King stressed that Bahrain is among the countries care for preserving the natural habitats of migratory birds throughout the year, wishing the writer more successes to come. Colonel Al-Kaabi expressed gratitude for HM the King's support and encouragement to produce this book which comes in conformity with the royal directives on the conservation of these rare bird species visit Bahrain in various seasons. He said that the book is an important reference for researchers, students and those interested in the field of environmental and bird species.
