HM King praises ties with Jordan

Manama, Dec. 21 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has voiced pride in the outstanding deep-rooted Bahraini-Jordanian relations, and their steady progress in various fields, praising the two brotherly countries' keenness to constantly bolster them. HM King Hamad made the statements as he received at Al-Safriya Palace today the Jordanian King's Military Advisor and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff General Mashal Al Zaben, who conveyed to him greetings from HM King Abdulla II of Jordan, and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. HM King Hamad requested General Al Zaben to convey his greetings to the Jordanian monarch, and wishes of further progress and prosperity to the brotherly Jordanian people. HM the King lauded the role played by Jordan, under the leadership of HM King Abdulla II, and contributions to efforts to strengthen the pillars of security, stability and peace in the region. HM the King welcomed General Al Zaben's visit to the kingdom, highlighting the importance of such brotherly visits in enhancing Bahraini-Jordanian cooperation and coordination, especially in the military fields. General Al Zaben expressed delight in being received by HM the King, lauding the King's wisdom and constant keenness to consolidate the solid bilateral relations in all fields. HM the King discussed with the Jordanian monarch's advisor the latest regional and global developments, wishing him a successful visit to Bahrain.
