HM the King patronizes Bahrain International Holy Quran Recitation Contest

Manama, Apr 1 (BNA) -- Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments today launched via-the-internet Bahrain International Holy Quran Recitation Contest (International Reciter). The Contest confirms Bahrain's leading role in serving the Holy Quran and encouraging the youth and youngsters to recite the Holy Quran. President of Information Affairs Authority (IAA), Ali bin Mohammad Al-Rumaihi, extended gratitude to HM the King for patronizing the International Reciter Contest that comes within the framework of HM the King's distinguished initiatives and projects aim to serve Islam and Muslims and to disseminate human values, religious precepts and moderation. IAA's President hailed the efforts of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, the official sponsor, in organizing the contest and other religious activities aimed at supporting Islamic unity and disseminating the culture of tolerance and moderation through the Islamic centers and houses of worships. He added that the IAA is honored to provide the media coverage for the contest, for the spiritual values it carries. He affirmed providing human and technical capabilities to support this international contest locally and internationally. He said advertisements on the contest logo, concept, prizes, and mechanism of participation will be broadcasting on Bahraini TV and radio stations, in addition to press reports concerning the contest news and activities will be published in local and international news agencies and newspapers in several languages to target audiences in Arab, Asian, African, European and American regions. Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc) also will be used. He added press conferences will be organized to provide local and foreign media with the latest news and brochures, registration flyers, invitation cards, religious publications etc. will be printed and distributed.
