HM the King meets Muharraq citizens

Manama, July 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa this evening received at the Muharraq Sports Club Ramadan well-wishers of the people of Muharraq, as part of HM the King's meetings with citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The well-wishers expressed appreciation of the royal interest in promoting development and housing projects in Muharraq, reiterating allegiance to HM the King's leadership. After several verses of the holy Quran were recited, Dr. Jawahir Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, in her speech, hailed the development projects witnessed by Muharraq in all areas, thanks to the royal directives, support of the government led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and follow up of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. Dr. Al-Mudhihki welcomed the royal reforms and decisions made aimed at protecting the homeland and citizens, noting standing by Bahrain leadership in taking on challenges faced by Bahrain and the region. HM the King was presented with commemorative gifts by Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi and Chairman of Muharraq Sports Club Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa. HM the King offered Ramadan greetings to the audience and wished them good health, wellness and serenity. HM the King said that difficult times can always be overcome by reinforcing cohesion and social unity. HM the King ordered to construct a multi-purpose hall for the benefit of Muharraq citizens. Muharraq Governor, on behalf of Muharraq citizens, expressed thanks for HM the King's support for Muharraq citizens. He stressed that HM the King's visit embodies Bahraini leadership's appreciation of Muharraq citizens. He renewed loyalty to the homeland and leadership.
