HM the King issues four decrees

Manama, Jan. 5 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued royal decree 73/2015, appointing Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Ahmed Janahi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) for a three-year term. Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al-Qaed was appointed CEO of the Informatics and e-Government Authority with the rank of Undersecretary, while Mohammed Hamad Bubsheet was re-appointed as Director-General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) for a three-year term, as stipulated by royal decrees 74 and 75 issued by HM King Hamad. HM the King also issued royal decree 76/2015, on the structure of the Bahrain Authority for Tourism and Exhibitions (BATE). According to the decree, BATE shall have a Board of Directors. The CEO, with the rank of undersecretary, will be affiliated to the Board of Directors, and will be in charge of Directorate of Human and Financial Resources and Deputy CEO, with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary. The Marketing, Exhibitions and Conferences Directorate, the Tourism Marketing and Promotion Directorate, the Facilities and Services Directorate and the Handicrafts Management Directorate will report to the Deputy CEO. Any provision that are inconsistent with the provisions of this decree shall be cancelled.
