HM the King invited to Arab Summit in Cairo

Manama, Mar. 2. (BNA) – His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a written message from the Egyptian President Abel Fattah Al-Sisi, who extended to him an invitation to attend the 26th regular Arab Summit, to be hosted by Egypt in the end of this month. This came as HM the King received at the Royal Guard Command today the Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Essam Saleh Awad, who handed over to him the letter. The ambassador conveyed to HM the King greetings from President Al-Sisi, and wishes of abundant good health and happiness to him, and of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. HM King Hamad requested Ambassador Awad to convey his greetings to the Egyptian President, and wishes of continuous progress and prosperity to the brotherly Egyptian people. HM the King expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to President Al-Sisi for the kind visit, wishing the Arab Summit every success in achieving the goals that serve the causes of the Arab Nation and its peoples. HM the King lauded the solid deep-rooted fraternal relations bonding the two countries and their brotherly peoples, praising their steady progress. HM King Hamad also lauded the historical role played by Egypt in serving joint Arab action, stressing the importance of Egypt's role in the current phase the Arab Nation is going through, and efforts in championing Arab and Islamic causes and unifying Arab stances.
